Why Mind Over Matter Matters to take care of your overall well being?

During the pandemic crisis, the effects are still being felt globally, and everyone on the planet is well aware of the catastrophic  consequences.

There is even speculation about whether the world will witness the Third Wave.

Because of the Coronavirus pandemic, one term we all know is the immune system, which is a household term.

The stronger your immune system, the more resistant you are to the Corona virus.

You must take good care of your health in order to boost your immune system.

That means you must make a decision to improve your health in some way.

That is, in one sense, a positive effect of the pandemic.

At the very least, it raises public awareness of health issues.

However, one important factor in keeping your body healthy should not be overlooked.

Your thoughts.

You’re taking your vitamins, you’ve quit smoking and eating junk food, and you’ve decided to buy a juicer to reap the health benefits of  juicing.

Everything is fine.

And, according to the most recent research, all of these things may aid in the treatment and prevention of cancer, as well as the treatment and prevention of a variety of other ailments such as heart disease, asthma, allergies, and high blood pressure.

Exercise and a nutritious diet are critical for good health.

But don’t overlook the importance of your mind in maintaining a healthy body.

It is well known that anxiety can exacerbate any illness.

Anxiety can exacerbate pain, lower defences that allow a cold virus to take hold, and contribute to an increase in blood pressure.

Sometimes just relaxing can do wonders for your health.

All of this is part of the mind/body connection.

You’ve probably heard of the “placebo effect.”

That’s when you think you’re getting better because you’re taking a medication, only to find out you’re actually taking a sugar pill.

In almost all drug studies, a certain percentage of people improve by taking a placebo.

Is this to say that you can overcome any illness simply by believing you are healthy? No. In addition, if you are experiencing any troubling symptoms, you should seek medical attention. However, combining the power of positive thinking, belief, and relaxation techniques with healthy eating and modern medicine can certainly aid in the treatment of any disease. It can reduce anxiety, which can aid in the treatment of any anxiety-related illness. It can alleviate nausea in cancer patients, making certain procedures easier. It has the potential to reduce the effects of pain.

Hypnosis or self-hypnosis is one method for increasing positive belief.

Hypnosis allows you to enter a deep state of relaxation and bypass the critical beta mind.

Once in a relaxed trance state, imagine or visualise your body as perfectly healthy, and repeat positive affirmations to yourself about your  body’s health.

How exactly does one enter a trance state?

Of course, one option is to consult with a hypnotherapist, who will use hypnotic techniques to hypnotise you.

Another option is to use self-hypnosis to hypnotise yourself.

The short version is as follows:

Place yourself in a comfortable position.

Close your eyes and actively visualise your body relaxing.

Take several deep breaths in, relaxing and exhaling any tensions.

Begin with your feet and imagine them completely relaxed.

Work your way up to your body, imagining that each breath brings relaxation to the rest of your body.

Allow yourself plenty of time.

It isn’t a race.

When you’ve finished actively imagining your body relaxed, go even deeper and imagine yourself going down an elevator or a staircase,  imagining that each step down takes you deeper.

I use a 21-step staircase and count down.

You are free to use any number you want.

When you reach 0, tell yourself you’re in deep sleep and tell yourself you’ll be deeply relaxed every time you go down the staircase in your mind.

You imagine your body as healthy at this point, while repeating your affirmations to yourself.

When you’re finished, simply count yourself up and down from 0 to 5, telling yourself to open your eyes and that you’re wide awake and  alert.

Your self-hypnosis session does not have to be long; 5 or 10 minutes will suffice.

However, if practised on a daily basis, it will undoubtedly aid in the relief of tensions and anxiety that can wreak havoc on your health.

Also, don’t forget to keep the juicer and the vitamins.

Staying healthy includes things like using a juicer, taking vitamins, and exercising and eating healthfully, as well as going to the doctor on a regular basis.

Remember, it’s called the mind-body connection.
