Greatest Visionary Elon Musk

Is Elon Musk real life Iron Man?

“If you get up in the morning and think the future is going to be better, it is a bright day. Otherwise, it’s not.”

Who says this??

Though sometimes it hardly matters who said this but if you pay deeper attention, you will find what does it actually mean and on which direction it can help you!

Though I knew a little bit about Elon Musk but I never give a serious thought to know more about him until recently I came across the news of Elon Musk becoming world’s richest man in the month of Jan, 2021, surpassing Jeff Bezos, the head of Amazon.

Elon Musk real iron man

As you know, when read such news as World’s richest man, definitely our attention goes to other side of  such news.

Though most of us are familiar with Bill Gates as World’s richest man. Even so many of my friends still thinks its Bill Gates. Recently, people knew about Amazon CEO Jeff Bezos!

But now, it’s neither of them.

Its Elon Musk!

The real life Iron man.

Iron Man Elon Musk

As far as World’s richest man as well as Billionaire Entrepreneur news comes, Elon Musk’s name is now at top.

With a total net worth of $190 billion and rising, Musk has now overtaken Amazon’s CEO, Jeff Bezos, to become the wealthiest person in the world, according to the valuation by Bloomberg’s Billionaire Index — a list of the top 500 richest people in the world.

Interestingly, this is the first time since October 2017 that Bezos has been dethroned from his position at the top of this list. He now currently sits second at a net value of $187 billion.

The question should not be, how he became the world’s richest man, Question should be – Why he should not become World’s richest man??

Elon Musk is completely different persona than rest of us.

Could we ever imagine, when stuck in traffic, instead of daydreaming or getting annoyed, Musk launched the Boring Company to make transportation faster underneath the city streets?

  • Who else could developed a game called Blastar which he later sold for $500 at the age of 10?
  •  Who else could left PHD program in Stanford University just after two days of admission in 1995 just to explore Internet Boom?
  •  Who else could become the first liquid-fuel rocket developed by a private firm to reach the orbit in 2008?
  • Who else could developed a man-machine interface that could connect the human brain with computers?
  • Who else could developed the world’s most powerful operational rocket of the time The Falcon Heavy, which was, completed its first flight in 2018. The rocket carried a mannequin called ‘Starman’ and Musk’s personal cherry-red Tesla Roadster along, which were launched into space
  • Who else could be the second entrepreneur in silicon valley who created three companies with a market cap of $1 billion or more with PayPal, Tesla and SpaceX.

Who else would work 120 hours a week to try to meet production goals at his factory?

The more you read about Elon Musk, The more intrigued you feel!

He is a real life maverick!

Elon Musk  is said to have inspired the persona of the character ‘Tony Stark’ played by Robert Downey Jr. and is often referred to as the ‘real-life Iron Man’

Robert Downy junior as Iron man

Elon Musk has made guest appearances in many notable Hollywood movies including Iron Man 2 and TV series such as The Big Bang Theory and Young Sheldon

He is considered the most future-oriented person in the world.

Elon Musk is said to be a pioneer in the world of technology.

The most amazing part on Elon Musk is when the news out broke in every media report, How Elon Musk reacted? He simply said, “How Strange”. But he didn’t stop there, as he responded with another Tweet, “Well, back to work.”

Elon Musk who is the founder of many innovative companies such as Tesla and SpaceX reacted rather strangely to going top of the Bloomberg Billionaire Index.

During school days, He was often bullied as a child and once, he was beaten up so bad that he had to be hospitalized.

Musk is incredibly intelligent.

You may be knowing, most of the times, incredibly intelligent people are not one-tenth as successful as Musk, or even successful at all. For the book Elon Musk: Tesla, SpaceX, and the Quest for a Fantastic Future , journalist author Ashlee Vance exposed many aspects of his life.

The book is undoubtedly an inspiring book, an important look into a game-changing worldview, and a valuable lesson to the world.

As Musk says, “If something is important enough, even if the odds are against you, you should still do it.”
That’s Elon Musk!

Elon’s first wife, Justine Musk, dated him during college and recalls that he was highly competitive.

Ashlee Vance  did extensive research in her book “Elon Musk: Tesla, SpaceX, and the Quest for a Fantastic Future”

Musk’s trajectory didn’t go straight from start-up to billionaire. Far from it. In fact the developer nearly went bankrupt several times….to the glee of naysayers and jealous rivals.

He had a difficult childhood, being viciously bullied at school and tormented by his father.

Musk was born to a Canadian mother and South African father and raised in Pretoria, South Africa. He briefly attended the University of Pretoria before moving to Canada when he was 17 to attend Queen’s University. He transferred to the University of Pennsylvania two years later, where he received dual bachelor’s degrees in economics and physics. He moved to California in 1995 to begin a Ph.D. in applied physics and material sciences at Stanford University, but dropped out after two days to pursue a business career.

As in MBA classes, you may be heard the saying “we have to think out of the box”.

This highly talented guy Elon Musk did a Ph.D. on “ Out Box Thinking”!!

Out of box thinking by Elon Musk

We watched many sci-fi movies, let’s say Blade Runner, Star Wars, Total Recall and many. In all those movies they projected that the future is all about Air Transport, but this guy is digging a hole in the ground from Los Angeles to San Francisco for High-speed transportation. He makes his vision a reality.

Great lesson we can learn from Elon Musk Life is :

  • Have a powerful vision
  • You must execute your ideas well
  • Good ideas can spring from anyone, anywhere
  • Think big
  • Practice integrity
  • Seek out constructive criticism
  • Learn the fundamentals and use the knowledge to your benefit
  • Focus on the most important activity in your enterprise
  • Consider failure in your plans and come up with a back-up plan
  • Make every effort to build an organization whose culture and ideals are similar to yours

Let’s be frank how many of us think of ideas like leaving the Earth and start colonizing on Mars? And,  how many of us ever thought of reusing an orbital rocket? Forget about “out of the box thinking” his thoughts are already out of this world.

That’s why, Elon Musk’s future project of going to Mars for a human colony is not a hype as many considered. This guy can make it reality one day as he did so many impossible feat!
