Your morning routine can change your student life drastically

Like any other morning routine, today morning also, I  again woke up by a phone call from my little daughter.

“Papa, I have done my SAVERS  today. Have you done yours?

( For further reading, you can click here:

I replied “Yes, My dear, I have done my SAVERS  but I could do up to ‘R”  only’. I couldn’t do the last ‘S’ today .

You may be wondering what is this SAVERS is!.

Let me spell it for you – S, A, V, E, R, S.

Before going into the depth of  S.A.V.E.R.S, let me ask you a question –

Don’t you desire to achieve? Don’t you want to be successful?

If your answer is yes, then, just say with a loud voice.YES!

Being an achiever is everyone’s dream. And to become an achiever, a successful one, we need to motivate ourselves constantly to face the hurdles that challenge us from time to time.

Why we have to motivate ourselves on a constant basis, on a daily basis you know. This can be well understood from the following quote if you pay attention to it.

As per   Hilary Hinton “Zig” Ziglar, popularly known as Zig Ziglar, an American author, salesman, and motivational speaker: People often say Motivation does not last. Well, neither does bathing. That,s why we recommend it daily

The best way to get motivated is to know the story of Hal Elrod.

Have you heard of Hal Elrod? Hal Elrod is an American author, keynote speaker, and success coach.

But from the entire universe of his achievement, what inspires me the most and of course my little daughter – is his journey. In fact, every morning, I get a call from my little daughter asking about doing SAVERS or not. Creating a habit of doing this morning routine with SAVERS has drastically changed the life of myself as well as our little daughter.

That’s why, every morning, I use to get a phone call from my daughter asking about doing this morning routine or not.

Hal Elrod , at the age of 20, meet a serious accident. He had 11 fractures, a ruptured spleen, and nerves in split after his bike got hit by a speeding truck driven by a drunken driver. Then what happened? From what one can portrayed, it is obvious that he was declared dead.

But  Miracle happened!!! After 6 minutes, he took a breath. He was in a coma for 6 days. Yeah, a miracle had happened. But, what about the other miracle? The journey afterward… What do you expect from a person who underwent seven surgeries to repair 11 broken bones?

The person, on whom the doctors had almost given up… today is not only fit but has even participated in marathon. On present-day, his miraculous 6-morning habits, SAVERS, are guiding me as well as my daughter.

We do it every morning without fail.

Let’s see what this acronym SAVERS stands for:

S  stands for Silent means Morning Prayer or meditation. I ask our daughter to focus on outside birds chirping just after getting up. Or, whatever prayer you follow you can do. Or, you can do mindfulness or any other meditation.

A stands for Affirmation. A positive affirmation is simply a short statement that you say to yourself and repeat, in order to get your subconscious mind reprogrammed and thinking along an empowering train of thought. Say all positive things with oneself like – I ask our daughter to say to herself – I am the best, I am the most intelligent girl, my day is going to be the best day today.

V stands for Visualization – means making a positive mental picture inside mind about some upcoming event. It is a technique that you practice alone; imagining your ideal life. You create the self-image of the life that you want to live, the body that you want, the family life that you want, Sometimes I tell our daughter to visualize that she has already done excellent in her coming unit test. The more clearly you can visualize, make a mental movie of an expected outcome, the more good it is for you.

E stands for Exercise… You all know how well a little bit of morning exercise is. After getting up, you can make a part of your life to do a little bit of exercise. A healthy mind rests only in a healthy body”.

R stands for…? Any guesses?  It is Reading. Make morning reading a habit. You must read at least thirty minutes. Reading can build your motivation, inspiration, and knowledge, which can help you join the ranks of other high-accomplishing morning-reader entrepreneurs such 110 80% Mindset 20% Skills as Warren Buffet, Bill Gates, and Starbucks CEO Howard Schultz. An average millionaire or a CEO reads 60 books in a year. For sure they know the secrets to success.

S for Scribble… Write something about yourself. Scribble refers to writing. Most successful people start their day by writing their thoughts. You can make a journal to write previous days’ happenings and any important things come to your mind.

This is SAVERS’ six-morning miracle! This is the morning routine you can easily do without any investment.

Doing this six-morning miracle, Hal Elrod not only come over from his life-threatening accident, but He has also achieved success to such a level that others be envious of him.

And the Outcome? Hal Elrod bestselling book: The Miracle Morning. He described these techniques in more detail in his book.

And, the real miracle is with our daughter. Just doing these SAVERS, our daughter has transformed her student life to a topnotch level.

That is the power of doing SAVERS. Your morning routine of doing savers will drastically change your life.

The most important point is, just reading something inspiring and not taking any action, will not change our life, especially students’ life.

So, if we can make our morning routine a habit of doing  SAVERS, I am sure, you can drastically change your life. Especially student’s life.

Oprah, Richard Branson, Tim Ferriss, Tony Robbins and many other successful people all have some sort of morning ritual

But the challenge is, how to make it a habit of doing this morning routine.

It’s only possible if you read this, again and again, to make you inspired on a daily basis as Zig Zaglar says…

You have to internalize it with bathing, which is a daily habit for all of us.

And, then,  no one can stop you to take the massive action of doing this SAVERS as a morning routine.

To go a step further, you can challenge yourself that no matter what the excuses are, I will do this SAVERS for next two weeks.

Just think of it. No challenge is greater than challenges with yourself.

It will make SAVERS a morning routine for you and your life will change dramatically.
